The Category 3 Injector-class Foundry-type is an extremely advanced noncombatant characterized by their M2 Nanomachine storage tanks and injection equipment, as well as equipment dedicated to the consumption of metals for processing them firstly into biometals and then into pure Machinium ingots which can then be sent elsewhere. They are a counterpart to the Category 3 Breeder-class Fabricator-type.
