There is a very-high-importance project within REPAIR called the Biological Overhaul Initiative, which developed the Fractional Enhancement Method to alter males to such an extent that they can safely be augmented with RM Nanomachines and possibly become Agents. It is commonly referred to as Project FEMBOI, and at this stage only a very small handful of males have been successfully treated by these custom-tailored, highly-experimental procedures being developed by the program for each experimental subject. The successful experiments result in male REPAIR personnel who are sufficiently 'female' enough in terms of their body chemistry and other factors, which prevents the RM Nanomachines within them from malfunctioning.
