The Category 3 Supporter-class Shade-type is an extremely advanced Supporter-type Machina characterized by their stealth systems and role of information gathering and spying. These Machina are more specialized and advanced than the Category 3 Asaulter-class Shadow-type, focusing entirely on becoming invisible to all forms of sensors by comprehensively cloaking themselves through light-bending biotechnology. These Machina are not combatants, and as such are not Assaulter-class or Attacker-class Machina, depending on whether or not they can fly.
