The Category 3 Injector-class Ambusher-type is a specialist quasi-combatant characterized by their M2 Nanomachine storage tanks and injection equipment, as well as their conventional camouflage equipment. Their role is to hide amongst their surroundings under a large and thick Machinium disguise shaped like a shark, which incorporates material the Machina gathers from the surroundings. They can be found lurking in every environment, from rocky asteroids exposed to space, to urban battlefields, and even the sea floor. They move into position ahead of predicted enemy movements and wait to catch their prey similar to many fish from old Gaia who lurk among the rocks and coral of the sea floor.
